Mr. Irshad Abbasi

Mr. Irshad possesses postgraduate academic credentials in Agriculture, Rural Development and Environmental Planning from Australia.

He has rich experience of working in public, private & NGO sector with following key assignments which he completed successfully during the last 25 years:

⦁ Work with various national and international organizations includes Assistant Chief, Chief Planning Officer, Project Coordinator, Regional Head, Chief Technical Advisor, Country Director, Deputy Chief of Party, Program Director and Group Head.

⦁ Led planning and implementation of number of projects in the sector of Institutional Development, Innovation, Infrastructure, MSMEs, livelihoods, youth development, women economic empowerment, Disaster Risk, Reduction projects in unstable and emergency situations in East Africa (South Sudan and Kenya) Afghanistan and Pakistan (FATA, Punjab, Sind, Baluchistan, KP and GB).

⦁ Quite acquainted with the system and requirements of various bilateral and multilateral donors including provincial and federal government ministries, bilateral and multilateral agencies including (GAC) ex CIDA, USAID, RNE, DFID, SDC, DFAT, AFD, AFD, ADB and The World Bank etc.
