A professional degree of Doctor of Physio Therapy is 5 years (10 semesters) duration course, equivalent to 17 years of schooling. The degree program will bring out Physio Therapy professionals who will be competent as well as autonomous practitioners to diagnose and plan treatment for movement dysfunctions. Dysfunctionalities which might be by injuries or diseases are cured by using all physical means including; manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, preventative and corrective measures.
Scope of DPT
This course will enable you to become an autonomous Physio Therapist, aiding patients with physical dependency arising from illness, injury, disability, or aging. Physio Therapists promote health, wellbeing and assist rehabilitation by developing body systems – in particular the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems.

Scholarship criteria
The scholarship will be provided to the students on the basis of their academic performance.
1st position holder shall be entitled to 20% scholarship with regard to concerned tuition fee, second position holder to 15% while 3rd position holder shall be awarded a scholarship to the extent of 10%
Fee description:
- Students are expected to follow the allocated deadline for payment of dues. Institute may impose a fine in accordance with its notified policy upon delay or non-compliance to follow payment deadlines.
- In case of financial constraints, tuition fee may be paid in two installments. First installment is payable at the time of admission whereas second installment is payable by the mid of semester or as date approved/announced.
- The Admission fee shall be paid only once at the time of admission.
- Tuition fee is not applicable to outstanding balance and no deduction shall be made against the deposit. Tuition fee once paid is not refundable irrespective of whether a student leaves the course voluntary or is asked to leave the course due to any academic, disciplinary or other grounds.

This scheme of curriculum is also applicable to annual system; in which two consecutive semesters will be considered as one professional year. Credit hours’ distribution is as following;
- Theory: one credit hour shall be equal to one hour of teaching per week throughout the semester
- Practical / lab: one credit hour shall be equal to two hours of lab work per week throughout the semester
- Clinical: one credit hour shall be equal to three hours of clinical work per week throughout the semester
- Thesis: one credit hour shall be equal to three hours of research work per week throughout the semeste
Assessment Methods & Examination Policy:
- This is a 5-year undergraduate program of full time study. Each year of study comprises of two semesters. The duration of each semester is 16 weeks. At the end of 8th week there will be Mid-Term and Final-Term Exams at the end of 16th The first two years cover the basic medical sciences, communication skills and basic Physio Therapy concepts. The last three years will cover clinical medical sciences along with research project in last semester.
- The students shall be evaluated in each course on the basis of Assignments/Quizzes, Mid Semester and End Semester Examinations as per the weightage given

- A student will be placed on “Probation” if the CGPA less than 75.
- “Academic Relegation” means that a student will have to repeat the previous academic year (all courses) by joining a junior entry/batch.
- A student shall be academically relegated if his/her CGPA is below 1.75 in any academic year.
- A student will undergo academic dismissal if he fails to achieve a CGPA of 1.75 at the end of academic year in which he/she was placed on
- A student who does not attend two semesters and is not in contact with the Institute’s management his/her name shall be struck off from its rolls of students; however, he/she may seek re-admission in the same semester(s) as and when
- Re-admission in the first semester, without going through the admission process, is granted to only those undergraduate students who have been dismissed on academic grounds but only for once. There is no second re-admission.

Attendance Policy:
- A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory in every course. From the date of commencement of a course, a maximum absence of 4 sessions in regular semester shall be allowed. Attendance below 75% would restrict students to appear in
