Program Overview
Nursing is one of the most significant segments of global health care system. At national level, the profession has seen a rising trajectory which has been due to various contributory factors such as enhanced social acceptance, increased economic relevance and well-defined professional career paths. Pakistan still has a shortfall of around a million nursing professionals. The requirement is being fulfilled by not only public sector institutions but also by a large number of private sector players.
The profession is stringently regulated by Pakistan Nursing Council and it’s because of effective regulations that nurses from Pakistan have a great potential for global employability as well.
Objectives:
- a. To impart latest academic knowledge and give satisfactory hands-on experience to students to help them become useful team members of national health care system.
- b. To make them competitive in global employment market.
- c. Help them understand professional work ethics.
- d. Make them useful citizens.
Eligibility Criteria
Degree Program | Eligibility |
BS in Generic Nursing | FSC (Pre-Medical 60% minimum marks) A-levels or for foreign student’s SAT-Ⅱ (550 minimum) or Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) |
- a. Candidates are required to clear the entry test administered by affiliating university.
- b. The selected students will be interviewed for their personality and aptitude for pursuing the degree in nursing profession.
- c. Test score of entrance test by federal or provincial governments, such as UHS MDCAT test is acceptable.
- d. Admissions will be granted on strictly merit subject upon clearing entrance test, personal interview and in accordance with criteria & policy laid down by the statutory bodies with selection criteria of Matric 10%, FSc 60% and Entry Test 40%.

Note :
Tuition fee will increase by Rs. 10,000 every year.
