A First – Woman Judge To Be Elevated To SC

Pakistan is evolving as a country, and a major impact of that evolution are doors opening for the women of the country. For the first time in the country’s Judicial history, a woman judge, Justice Ayesha Malik, is being elevated to the rank of being a judge at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Justice Ayesha Malik, well equipped and experienced for the post, is standing fourth in the seniority list of the Lahore High Court, and once elevated, she will remain judge of the Supreme Court until March 2031.
